Kasu Loyalty (coming soon)
Kasu intends to launch a Loyalty programme, and your Loan Agreement already describes it (as Loyalty Levels). It is not live today. Nothing in the app currently ranks one lender's request ahead of another's on the basis of loyalty, and no reference to Loyalty in these docs describes anything available now. But because the programme will change how some requests are ordered once it launches, you should understand its shape before you lend.
In concept: lenders will be able to earn loyalty points, and a lender's Loyalty Level will be set by their points relative to the amount they have lent, so that a lender with a small loan can reach the same level as a lender with a large one. Higher Loyalty Levels are intended to bring:
- Priority for Lending Requests when a Lending Option is oversubscribed;
- Priority for Withdrawal Requests when a Lending Option's available funds are limited, so that lenders with a higher Loyalty Level are filled first;
- Bonus interest at a level published in the app at the time.
What this means for you if you do not participate: once the programme is live, your Withdrawal Requests and Lending Requests may rank behind those of lenders with a higher Loyalty Level, and may take longer to be filled in periods of high demand. The five-cycle rule ("How Withdrawals are Filled") will continue to apply regardless of Loyalty Level: any Withdrawal Request queued for more than five Transaction Cycles is prioritised ahead of all other requests until it is filled.
Details of how points are earned, the Loyalty Levels and their benefits, and the launch date will be published before the programme goes live, and these docs will be updated at the same time.
