Transferring funds to your bank account
Funds in your Digital Wallet can be transferred to a bank account you have registered, using the Transfer to Bank feature in the Kasu app. This is separate from withdrawing: a Withdrawal Request moves funds from a loan back to your Digital Wallet; Transfer to Bank moves them from your Digital Wallet to your bank.
To register a bank account, choose the account's currency, then complete the details in the form for that currency. The forms use the vocabulary of your own bank (routing number, IBAN, CLABE, PIX key) and state which accounts are eligible. Transfers to your bank are handled by the same payments partner as transfers in (Wayex, on Bridge infrastructure), and the verification described in Adding funds to your Digital Wallet must be complete before you can use them.
When you transfer funds to your bank, the 0.5% fee (0.1% Wayex, 0.4% Bridge) is first deducted from the stablecoin amount you send, and the remainder is then converted to your bank's currency at the rate applying at the time. So 1,000 USDC sent to a US dollar account becomes 995 USDC after the fee, which converts one for one and arrives as 995 US dollars. As with transfers in, the screen shows a single indicative rate and an estimated amount arriving, with the fee already included, so the estimate is what you would receive. The rate is indicative, not a quote: for US dollars it does not move, and for other currencies the amount that arrives may be a little more or less than the estimate, because the conversion happens only when it is processed. Your bank may apply its own charges on receipt.
Funds usually arrive within three to four business days, and on some rails within minutes. Check the account details carefully before you confirm: a transfer to the wrong account cannot be reversed by Kasu, and on some rails the account does not have to be in your own name, so there is no automatic check that it is yours.
